I went to California to visit my mother in November, and it was the best!! Although the reasoning for my visit wasn't very pleasant, I am so happy to have been able to spend that time with my mother in the California sun. Today I sure could use that sunshine! P.S. Dana Point is a fabulous destination!!!!

So, I guess to start off, I will let you know a bit about me. I am 35 and about to be an empty nester. My son is 19 years old about to graduate high school and go off to the military. I was very young when I had him and have been a single mother all of his life. I am a bit frightened to be alone, but inspired by the possibilities he has to grow as a young adult. He is my greatest success! I love to make things...just about anything really. From food to clothing, I dabble in it all. I am a self taught interior design consultant and have practiced as such since 2005. I love all things girly, and some things not so. I love to go fishing! I know, I know...not necessarily the activity of a diva, but I'm the best dressed fisherwoman for sure! I'm looking forward to sharing my adventures with you! Happy blogging!!!
